Tasting Californian cuisine.

Heyyyy guys! As you can see, this is my first time sharing content with you so i decided to start this trip stoping by Los Angeles, California.

Spago restaurant is known for the fame that its exquisite dishes have produced. Wolfgang Puck is a chef, restaurant owner and businessman that create Spago in the year 1982. It was his first flagship restaurant and the one that let him to instantly success. This culinary phenomenon burst with his early signature dishes such as haute cuisine pizzas topped with smoke salmon and caviar and saloma baby lamb, dishes that put Spago on the gourmet map around the world.

Once you get to know the moving story of the place, known by the master chef behind every delicious dish and the importance that represent for LA's tourism, is inevitable to go through this city without knowing and tasting this incredible gastronomic experience.

Now that you know the story of this rest, is my time to share my personal experience at the place. Wagyu, that means ''japanese cow'' is a type of beef originally from the city of wagyu at Japan.
Its meat is very appreciated for its characteristics of flavor, tenderness and juiciness, being used for the preparation of high-cost "gourmet" dishes. Wagyu cuts are also identified by their intense marbling, that is, the infiltration of fat into the muscle fibers, which gives their particular flavor attributes when cooked.

A tiny steak of this exclusive type of beef can easily exceed 100 euros. The secret? The legends converge in one: cows fed on beer, massaged daily and entertained with classical music on the green slopes of Kobe, a city 600 kilometers southwest of Tokyo, Japan. Japanese farmers invented this technique at the beginning of the 19th century. Since then, the myth, so musical and enigmatic, repeated by word of mouth, has spread throughout the world.

Yes, is very expensive but it's woth trying, i can afirm that is a unique experience in the world, and the fact that you try it can expand your culinary knowledgement.

know this renowned restaurant and at the same time try one of the most exotic meats in the world has been one of the best experiences in my whole life. 100% recommended for people who love food and like to get to know new cultures.
