Pics of some mouth watering food dishes we tried today below..Scroll down at your own risk.. :D

Situated in the capital city of India, also known as the famous Delhi-6, Old Delhi or specifically Chandni Chowk is every foodies delight. Known for its age old Street Food, the place is so crowded that it's best to walk around the streets to witness it's beauty at its best.

I with my five friends paid a visit to this place today and with my stomach about to burst seriously right nowwith Lassi, Tikki, Bhalle Paapdi, Amritsar Kulcha and Kulfi Falooda in desert, I am writing this blog to share with you the delicious food we tasted today.

It was hot summer day in Delhi and we were feeling thirsty so we decided to refresh ourselves with the famous Kake ki Hatti's Sweet Lassi..For those who don't know Lassi , it's a drink made of Curd, Water and Sugar.

Than we decided to pay a visit to Lal Quila which is very close by. Lal Quila was built by famous Mughal emperor Shahjahan and this place witnessed the first speech given by our Prime Minister post it's independence.

After clicking some photographs, we started to feel hungry and decided to start our food hunting..

We started with famous Indian street foods Alloo Tikki(Potato Cutlet) and Dahi Bhalle - I don't know how to translate it lol..but it's a dish made of curd. The shop was almost 77 years old. Both dishes were super tasty seriously and we were thoroughly satisfied with the first few dishes we have tried till then..

Then after that loafing around the places doing some street shopping - The place is famous for the fake branded products..My Friend purchased two Gucci Watches just for some 200 Rs(4$) each..yes it's that cheap there..

After spending some time roaming around, we head to one new age old shop Kake Di Hatti which is famous for its Amritsari Kulcha (A kind of bread which has its origination at State of Punjab in India). The bread size is almost close to man's arm and it's so heavy that two to three people can easily share it..We ordered some curd and a curry to have it alongwith.

With our stomach almost full, there was no way we could leave the desert which is again from Giani's which is known for its famous Rabdi Faluda(A kind of Ice Cream but seriously lot more tasty) . I completed one glass of Faluda myself even though I was so full afterall it was so so tasty..
