Breakfast in Hotel Rihga Royal, Osaka / Travel Story / Life Photography
It was my breakfast in Rihga Royal Hotel, Osaka.
Ok, this time I think I should review the hotel honestly for you who plan to travel Osaka.
It was 4 star hotel. I was satisfied with a 4 star hotel in Tokyo and I felt good with a hotel in Fukuoka as well even I stayed in a small hotel in Fukuoka. That's why I didn't worry about the hotel when I book. Now, I'm hard to say Rihga Royal Hotel was very good. The hotel seemed to have various seminars and wedding ceremony because the hotel was so big. Nevertheless, I couldn't like the hotel because the hotel was so old and the room was very small. I smelled bad from the sewer when I stepped into the bathroom. The smell wasn't strong, but my first impression of the hotel room wasn't good. Also, the hotel was located in a little more secluded place than I have seen on the map. I thought the hotel could not be bad for old people. If a company needs a hotel for a conference in Osaka, it may be good. I'm afraid that I don't want to recommend the hotel for your personal trip. Of course, I believe your review may be different if you reserve a suite. One thing I really liked in the hotel was shower. The water poured from the shower was so strong. I felt like I was getting a massage.
When I tried to find a hotel for the trip on May, I was little hesitated to decide one between Hyatt Hotel and Rihga Royal Hotel. I confirmed Rihga Royal Hotel breakfast is well-known as good and I wanted to experience more Japanese things. I thought later that I should have booked Hyatt Hotel. I will try a 5 star hotel if I go to Osaka again.
I got up early and went to breakfast on the first floor. There were so many people who have a blue name tag. An old lady kept asking me about foods while moving in line for foods. She probably thought I'm a Japanese or one of the members. She was cute. Enjoy the foods. There were plenty of Japanese style foods for breakfast.
You are with me now in Osaka travel of May.

Can you imagine the amount of food we can consume, you and me ;) ;)
:))))
That is a lot of interesting food - I recognize some of it, like the granola. But other food, I don't recognize it. I would like that tray with 9 compartments in it -- it's fun. Too bad about your cramped quarters. Older hotels can provide a quaint atmosphere, but rooms were so much smaller when they were built. A good shower, with a lot of water, though, is valuable - especially on a trip. Thanks for the tour!
I think so. If there wasn't the shower, I don't even give a 3 star to the hotel. :) @haphazard-hstead
Hehe. Just got up and now I have to go immediatly to the bakery ;-) Greetings my dear.
Have a good day :) @lichtblick
Thank you very much and I wish you a beautiful evening/ night :-)
Which is a rich and very good breakfast. Very delicious looks it all out!
I like your foods better. :) @homeartpictures.
Oh thank you my dear.... ☺️
Bontonstory, the Rihga Royal Hotel sounded sort of bad with the sewer smell in the bathroom. That alone would make me not go back, even if everything else was okay. So with the room being small perhaps it was not a good place to stay. If I ever go to Osaka, I think I will try another hotel. The food looked good but did all the trays belong to you or did you get to choose only one tray? I wasn't sure. Well despite the hotel stay, was your trip overall good in Osaka? I hope so! As always, I enjoy your blogs. Thank-you for sharing!
The smell wasn't that bad and it didn't come out to my room, but it still wasn't good. :) I took pictures after choosing foods. :))) Don't be shocked! In traveling, we always have a trouble. Overall, it was fun as you've seen in my posts. @cabbagepatch
