Of course, Florence is a wonderful place, full of culture and art. Wonderful Renaissance! The one who broke the darkness of the Middle Ages. The most appropriate place to be UNESCO site. Besides, most UNESCO sites are in Italy, I think.
Yes, The sites included in the UNESCO list in Italy are 53: it is the country with the largest number of Unesco sites followed by China (52) and Spain (46).
