Walking in the desert to reach an oasis (Peru - Southamerica)

I enjoy the desert, maybe because I live in a city surrounded by it. The peruvian coast is a desert. I love hiking not only in the mountains, also in the dunes. For me, one of the best hiking routes near Lima - the city where i live- is the Moron Oasis.

The trek

The trek begins in the town Bernales, 3 and a half hours south of Lima. The first part is walking around crops until the desert begins.

sand and sky were the only things I could see

and we arrived. It is only a 40 minutes walk from the nearest town.

Not always is sunny in the desert, sometimes its cloudy

The first time I went to Morón Oasis it was a sunny day, perfect to swim
