The Cities Underwater #Part 1
So fellow Steemians, do you there are dozens of city which were habitat with humans until they were flooded away due to change of course of water or other reason.
One of the first city I will introduce to you is
Lion City located in Qiandao Lake in China
The city is believed to be built around AD 25–200, as of now the city is submerged, the city of ruins are deemed to be very strong and well built on ancient and present architect of China.
To surprise you more, the city was PURPOSELY submerged around 1960 by the Government to pave way for Reservoir and a River hydroelectric station.
The massive project undertook by Government displaced 300,000 people and more than 1000 villages.
At present divers use this place as a tourist site and one of great place of attraction.
