Travel Bulletin #5 Wigan man in Siagon

Good evening fellow steemians,

This is my first travel bulletin from outside of the confines of the multi-cultural environs of the industrial north of England.

As we left behind the grey, cold and dark skies of Manchester, for the exotic far eastern reaches of Siagon.
The first snag was hit as the plane was cancelled but one hour into the journey from home in Amsterdam...... so 20 hours later having spent the vast majority of the budget in Amsterdam airport we moved on.

Eventually after a quick stop-over in Kuala Lumpur airport,(6 hours as oppose to 20 in Amsterdam) the penang roti rolls in the airport were fantastic, and everyone deciding to leave me face down asleep in the airport snoring for a laugh........... we arrived with a short skip and hop in Ho Chi Minh, with the entire journey taking a staggering 52 hours !!!

The final task of aiming to address the entrance visa system at the airport seeing double due to sleep deprivation was another task that was nearly beyond my comprehension.

Then the traffic in Ho Chi Minh.....

But at long last we arrived at our first destination....

So, a few final beers and off it was to bed under a grey, rainy albiet a touch warmer Siagon sky. I will be reporting in as the journey progresses.
