Let's start the block off by saying happy birthday to me and everyone else that is born in June, particularly June 2nd! This is what I did for my birthday. I decided to go hiking at the Painted Hills with my fiance in Central Oregon.

The Painted Hills are part of the John Day Fossil Beds that are right outside of Mitchell, Oregon. There is absolutely nothing out there, so be ready for an adventure. Enjoy some of the amazing photos i took while there. A trip of a lifetime, and almost unbelievable to be in Oregon.

My view on the way back to Portland isn't too bad. Mountains we can see: Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Washington, North Sister, South Sister, Mt. Bachelor, Three Finger Jack. ALL AT AT THE AT THE SAME TIME.
