Kasol Diaries - Bike trip to heaven
Hey everyone...
How you doin? Hope you're fine. Me? Oh my God I'm terrific; still can not get out of all the magic I've witnessed this previous week!!
Oh So where was I this week?
*Takes a deep breath
With my sweet bike. Kasol. Tosh. Kheerganga (Well no, you can't take bike to kheerganga, we had to trek there). Manana. Mandi. with maal ;)

For those of you who don't know where these places are, they're in northern state of India, Himachal Pradesh, the Devbhhomi. Literally translating to God's own place. And it stands to the promise at every point.
Just google the places, you'll know.
That's the way Kasol way
We started our journey from Gurgaon early at 4AM to bypass New Delhi's traffic (The excitement kept me from sleeping anyway). The roads to the Kasol valley broadens from the high speed NH44 to country roads on reaching Punjab to sexy 4-laney curves (I still regret that I didn't had camera-top helmets with me) on the hills of Himachal then finally to pain in the a** rocky stretch. -- But I'll love to have that bitter sweet experience anytime again.
The Tremendous trek to kheerganga
The trek starts from a village Tosh (Beyond witch, you cannot take your vehicle with you) and is a beautiful 12 KMs trek to the landing place, where you get tents and well ya that't the end of it, you only get tents and nothing else to spend your night. Ah. such a beautiful place, looks more beautiful when you reach there all tired! Such composure to sit down and relax.
Such wonderful experience but there's still a regret.
