EXPLORING ILIGAN CITY #1: Mimar's Springway Resort
Hi everyone!
Wondering how to spend a perfect chill day on weekend? Well, visit the famous tourist spot of Iligan City, the Timoga Spring Pools in Buruun, Iligan City.
Iligan City is not just famous for being the City of Waterfalls, in fact Iligan City also has this Spring Pools in Timoga consisting of 4 different resorts. Among of which is MIMAR'S SPRINGWAY RESORT that offers distinct features and amenities.
Mimar's Springway Resort has this mini waterfalls stream that makes it unique among the rest of the Timoga spring pools. It offers more of a nature's touch which can be perfect to relax after having a stressful week. It is not that shallow and it is too rocky so cannot have swimming or diving in here, but you can always sit on the rocks and have an icy-cool waterfall massage, as what I did. As you can see in my pictures, it is indeed very relaxing and so rejuvenating.
The stunning scenery and the sound of the rushing water makes it very refreshing to stay. And also you can always have an IG worthy pictures from here.
But I honestly, I really had a hard time having these quality photos because before I can pose I have to set my camera and direct my friend @shairanada the right angle to capture this amazing photos. And taa-daa she got what I expected. "Salamat diay maam @shairanada!!"
And if you want to have swimming or diving, Mimar's also offers a chilling swimming pool for both children and adults. They offer an Olympic type swimming for adults which is 7 ft in depth. But I happened not to take picture of which while having a dip because I tired directing for a quality photo in the waterfall stream earlier.
Chilling waters of Mimar's and other timoga spring pools came from the same source, the Agus River, and will exit to the Tourism Triangle of Iligan City. But what I'm trying to point out is that the water is flowing therefore zero-chlorine. So you have nothing to worry about your health while having a chill day.

Mimar's Springway Resort is very accessible since it is located just along the National highway. With a transportation fee of 14php from Iligan City proper and an entrance fee of 100php for adults and cottage fee of 400php for 10pax, you can now have extraordinary and unforgettable amusement.
