South of Bali- Nusa Dua: Hilton Bali Resort
Nusa Dua is the south end of the island of Bali. The beaches of the south are beautiful and serene and the waters are blue as can be. Most of the luxury resorts are located here since the views are so grand. I stayed at the Hilton Bali Resort formerly known as the Grand Nikko Resort. I spent one week at this resort having the most relaxing and peaceful time.
This is the view from the 15th floor of the tower that is cliffside and right on the beach.
The pool is very unique and stretches along the front of the resort like a lagoon. It has a waterslide ,volleyball net, and surrounds a restaurant that is right on the sand of the beach. Some rooms offered have their own private patio and entrance to the pool right from their patio. There are also private villas that provide multiple rooms for a more inclusive experience. The hotel provides sun beds so the guests can enjoy either a pool day, beach day, or both simultaneously. This is where I spent a lot of my time here. The spa is located right next to the pool area and shoreline providing full service spa treatments all day long.
I planned it out to spend my 20th birthday here at the Hilton Bali Resort. Here's a few photos from that day :)
including my current profile picture which was from this day!
My next post to follow will be about my time in Ubud which is the most spiritual and zen area of the island.
And now I want to go back.... even if it was the scene of my last relationship massacre. lol.
I don't blame Bali for that. Beautiful people, beautiful place, beautiful surf. I surfed mostly Changu last time I was there. But the previous time I was on a Drop Knee Tour with 11 riders off the Panitin Islands for 3 weeks. Intense waves!!!
Thank you for sharing the post. Wish I was there, but my day wasn't too bad I guess. I love this job!!!! lol
Such a rad video!! I absolutely love dolphins! They are by far my favorite sea creature. I'm jealous how close you were able to be with them. I'll definitely be following you to see more of your posts!
I spent a lot of time up in Canggu while I was in Bali. I love the vibe there. I'd love to hear more about your time in Bali! Anyway, thanks for your comment!
