Wanna visit Morocco? Starts with Marrakesh
Hello again :)
Have you ever thought of visiting Morocco? Well, this post is for you.
You are just interested in reading about it? Still, this post is for you.
Neither? Still, read it and tell me what you like the most about Marrakech
I'm not going to talk about the geography or the history of that city. You can find all that in Wikipedia
This is Marrakech-Menara airport (RAK) and obviously the first place you'll see in Marrakech. Not a bad start because that airport is really well designed. I've seen it but I have never been inside since I have never had the chance to travel abroad
One of the most amazing places to visit in Marrakech is Jamaâ El Fna (جامع الفنا)
The most famous square in Morocco, the smells there are just amazing and what I like the most about it is that it becomes busy at night. Imagine hundreds of people after midnight in a square watching snake charmers, hearing story tellers, eating in countless restaurants...just wonderful
Shopping from Nike, Adidas, H&M...is great but have you ever tried shopping from a souk. That's another experience.
Souks are traditional markets where you can find anything you want from what to eat to what to wear to what yo smell to what to have as souvenirs.
The best thing about them in my opinion is that buying from them is not boring. They suggest a price and you suggest one and each of you try to convince the other which is so nice. Kind of a free debate haha
Dont afraid. They speak a lot of languages even though they probably have left school at an early age
An example of a seller speaking a good German (I think because I don't speak that language)
Majorelle garden
Medina walls
Bahia palace
About food. I'm only going to say read about Moroccan cuisine
