QANTAS Domestic Business Lounge Review

On Wednesday 21st February 2018, my partner and I flew with QANTAS from Melbourne Tullamarine Airport to Adelaide Airport. We originally booked economy seats but were offered to upgrade to business class by using our QANTAS Frequent Flyer points. We decided to give it a try as we had never flown business class before!

Since we flew business class, we were allowed access to the domestic business lounge.

The lounge was very spacious and had lots of different seating arrangements and tables for those having a meal. The lounge featured large windows overlooking the runway which provided a large amount of natural light to shine through.

There was plenty of free food for those wanting a meal or snack before the flight. Options included salads, fruit, cheese platters, dessert and a meal of the day option which for us was pasta with bolognese sauce. Dessert options included a delicious berry cheesecake, chocolate brownie and caramel slice.

Barista made coffee was available as well as espresso machines for those not wanting to wait. There was self service soft drink, juice and water. Alcohol was also available.

The bathrooms were very luxurious and showers were also available which is great for those with connecting flights.

Overall we had an extremely pleasant experience in the Melbourne Qantas Domestic Business Lounge. I would highly recommend this to others if you ever have the chance to fly business or upgrade with points just as we did. It would be even better for those with a long stopover between connecting flights.
