Earlier this year, the Women Who Travel community officially started traveling together. First, to Colombia, where we spent our days dancing salsa and refueling on arepas, and soon, to Mexico, where we'll learn to sip mezcal like a pro, and navigate the country's sprawling marketplaces. Needless to say, we've been having a pretty great time—and we're ready for more.
Introducing Women Who Travel's 2020 trip lineup, featuring a brand new destination: Cuba. We knew we had to make one more stop in Latin America before moving elsewhere, and the island nation was an obvious choice. Endlessly fascinating to travelers, Cuba has a complex history and present-day reality unlike that of many other destinations, and the best way to truly understand it is with a local guide like the one leading our trip. Rules and regulations for U.S. travelers can also be confusing and overwhelming, which is why we wanted to make it even easier for the women in our community to make the journey, stress-free, by creating an immersive itinerary and handling the logistics for them.
And just like our existing itineraries, every step of the experience has been curated by Condé Nast Traveler editors, with all self-identifying women in mind. Our Cuba trips will be available to book on October 15, when full details about the trip will be shared. Can't wait until then? As of today we're offering 16 travelers the chance to secure a spot on our Cuba trip with just a $200 deposit via the link here.

We're also bringing back the best of our 2019 itineraries—meaning you'll still get to sail the Caribbean waters around Cartagena on our Colombia trip, and that family-run mezcal farm in Oaxaca will still be greeting our Mexico-bound travelers, thanks to our ongoing partnership with female-owned and run El Camino Travel. Each trip will have just 16 spots, with one local guide, and one on-trip photographer to capture it all. Of course, as with all our trips, all self-identifying female travelers are welcome to join us, whether you're flying solo or traveling with a sister, mother, coworker, best friend, or partner.
We're adding a few new highlights to our Colombia and Mexico offerings, too, including a Colombia trip over Thanksgiving, and a Mexico trip over President's Day, so you can maximize your vacation days. We've also got one, very special Day of the Dead trip to Mexico, which will run during the holiday and feature additions to the itinerary like a late-night visit to a cemetery in a village outside Oaxaca, and a market tour that will explain the items displayed on home-made altars known as ofrendas.
Ready to travel with us? Hurry—with just three trips running to Mexico, three to Colombia, and only one to Cuba, we don't expect these spots to remain open for long. You can read more about each destination, check available dates, and sign up to join us on El Camino Travel's website.
