A farewell to New Zealand!
Land of beauty and mystery: green ferns, lush fields and rolling hills, snow-capped volcanic mountains and majestic waterfalls.
A tribute to New Zealand:
To the people of New Zealand, thank you for your kind and gracious hospitality. And how hard working everyone is there, to keep it clean and beautiful.
- It was a joy to see no rubbish in the streets. Each household and shop owner kept their premises freshly painted, and their gardens beautiful and neatly clipped sidewalks.
- Farmers who took pride in keeping their hedge-ways immaculately trimmed. And don’t forget the neatly stacked woodpiles that kept their paddocks so tidy.
- My breath was taken away when I saw how fresh and clean the water was in the rivers. And don’t forget the huge volume and power of the sea-green water gushing over the waterfalls.
Here are some photos of that great country:
Tried to add in photos that I hadn’t shown you before:
North island photos:
These two photos are of Rotarua.
And these are of Rotarua, Ruapehu mountains and desrest, Dawson’s Wilkie pools and Taranaki mountain, in that order from left to right.
Here is a photo of Howell’s lake our son took. The rest are what mountain slips look like, New Zealand’s Stone-trees, and a scene in Palmerston North’s reserve park.
South island photos:
Now on South island, what you will see in Hadley Park in Christchurch. And Kaikoura along the west coast, before going down to Christchurch.
First the little reserve area next to the town of Twizel. Then the traffic through Cromwell pass, and the town of Te Anau, before going off to Milford sounds.
Looking back on fun times:
We had a really wonderful wild glorious time in New Zealand.
And to those who have been following all my blog series on our trip there, I hope you had enjoyed it too.
Dear Mam, I totally agree with your quotes, yes a country is made by its people and it's a great example of those great men for the rest of the world and especially for India, how they are neat and clean and tidy. They are the good people who gets their rewards back in the form of healthy and wealthy fresh and naturally clean weathers.
It's an alarming situation in India, but it can be only cured by its citizens and everyone should participate in this Yagya.
Congratulations to the people of New Zealand your efforts are awesome and are an excellent example for the rest of the world.
I agree. If everyone on this earth looked after their country like the New Zealanders, the earth would indeed be paradise.

My next travel trip will be taken back in time, to the time when we went through the Kruger National Park, in South Africa. That was such a memorable trip. Here's hoping you enjoy it too.
Truly a trip that gives an extraordinary impression. No wonder, if everyone will feel the same way. However, I wondered and searched, it seems I did not see it. Usually, very beautiful and artistic. And I, like to see it repeatedly until my imagination flies with oil painting, @artguru!
Oooh, shame... were you expecting another oil painting?!!! Sorry to let the side down!
