INTERESTING FACTS OF CARIBBEAN ISLANDS

Hello to my readers today I'll decide to write some thing about Caribbean Islands.I decide to write a whole series about every island that came under Caribbean island range.

So Caribbean Islands are made up of island group including greater Antilles(these islands are greater islands and included countries are Cuba ,Hispaniola ,Puerto Rico,Jamaica and the Cayman island .Lesser Antilles (Lesser island are long arc of small island extending in northwest directions in this category Trinidad and Tobago and north coast of Venezuela) and Windward islands(These are generally a larger islands than lesser Antilles In this category Saint lusia,Saint Vincent and Grenada are include).

These islands are usually have the boarder with panama, Belize ,Guatemala , Costa Rica and other countries.

If we went back to history and see rehabilitation of citizens of Caribbean.Many of those living in Caribbean islands are the descendant of slaves brought over Africa when European began to colonize( the area.
The countries included in Caribbean island are total 26 but those are:

1. Bahamas
   

2. Cuba
   

3)Jamica

4)Saint Lusia

1. Dominican Republic
   

2. Haiti
   

3. Barbados
   

4. Grenada
   

9)Dominica

and others islands.

The language spoken by the people of this region are English,French ,Spanish ,Dutch,Creole and papiamento. Mostly popular name of Caribbean islands other than Caribbean are West Indies. Christopher Columbus thought that he reached to indies(Asia) on his long journey of sea to find another route.Instead he was not reached to Caribbean.The Caribbean was named West Indies in account of his mistake .

According to geologists thousand of year ago volcano's erupted and in there result Caribbean islands are discernible.
The most populated islands are Haiti, Cuba and Dominican republic.

The most popular destinations in Caribbean island for tourists are Bird of Paradise Island,Balenboche state,Asa wright nature reserve.
