Sentinel island stays covered with mystery

India’s only prohibited island is Sentinel : India’s only prohibited and furious island is Sentinel. Let us know some information about this island.
North Sentinel island is situated near Port Blair , the capital of Indian state Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The light of modern civilization has not been reached in this island. The travellers are not allowed to enter in this island. Govt. officials and common people are also prohibited to enter in this mysterious island.
According to experts , the last tribe of the world who refused to become civilized , live in the island. No one knows exactly about the life style of Sentinels. Little information is available about them because Sentinels do not allow others to poke their nose.
Anthropologists eyed on these Sentinels from Helicopter and boat and gathered little information about them. It is known that there are , at best , 400 people reside in this island. They do not know even the use of fire. They don't know cultivation. They are living here for 60 thousand years.
Sentinels are different from other tribes in the world. Their language is not known or understood by even very near tribes of Sentinel island. It is seemed that the tribe came from Africa . Modern people tried to communicate with this island different times in history. Marcopolo wrote about this island but historian are not sure whether Marco polo entered in this island or not.
In the year of 1880 a team headed by anthropologist M V Portman ,went to this island. The team captured one aged couple and four children and brought them to investigate about Sentinels. Their objective was to bridge between civilization and Sentinels. They failed. The captivated Sentinels became ill and died at last. The Sentinels became more furious more about civilised people after this incident.
In the year of 1967 , Govt. of India started to try to communicate with this island. Indian anthropologist Mr. Trilok Nath Pandit got success for first time and entered in the island on 4th January 1991. He managed to establish friendly relation with Sentinels . Mr. Pandit’s effort was not fully successful because Sentinels have not given permission to enter in this island till date. They attacked several times when outside people tried to enter the island. Some of them died also bySentinels’ attack.
In the year of 2004 , Indian Govt. went their after Tsunami with reliefs. At that time , they attacked  the helicopter with bow in liu of having the relief. At last Govt. decided not to disturb them. For this reason , 3 notical mile area surrounding the island is prohibited zone declared.
