MUST SEE: countries with beautiful landscapes to visit in Europe

Here are some countries you have to visit, at least for the beautiful landscapes they offer. Make sure you go there on a sunny day and take your camera with you! :) 

            1. Island 

Located in the village of  Grundarfjörðu, the Kirkjufell mountain is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Island. It is surrounded by beaches, waterfalls… You can often watch rainbows there. Sure you will enjoy the views and the trip! 

The glacier you're looking at is 2500 years old... It is located in the national park  Vatnajökull. 

             2. Norway

You might already have seen people being photographed on this stone, called "Trolltunga". It is situated 1100 meters above water level. Not far from there is the Ringedalsvatnet lake. The only thing is, because of its reputation, the stone attracts many visitors. But, only some brave persons can reach the top of the cliff, requiring a 10-hour-walk! It is definitely worth trying... ! :) 

If you are not courageous enough (but I don't blame you for that) to climb the previous cliff, let's suggest you climb this one: the Pulpit Rock. It is "only" a 2-hour-walk which will lead you to the top (604 meters). You can also choose to travel with a ferry to see the cliff from underneath.

Yes, there are many things to see in Norway... Here is one of the most beautiful roads you can see. The Atlantic Road is constructed on small islands: 8.3 km of pure happiness. Enjoy the views! 

            3. Croatia 

Croatia is known for its beautiful landscapes, but one of the most beautiful is the following:

These are the 16 lakes of Plitvice! Not only are there lakes, but also 92 waterfalls and rivers. If you love water, you've found the place to be. If you want to visit, you can choose between a path made of wood (the best option, I think), a panoramic train or boats (only for the main lakes). 

            4. Spain

In my personal introduction (that you can find on my blog), I've already told you that my favorite country was Spain... So I couldn't miss the opportunity! 

The beautiful colors you can see on the picture are to be seen with the Rio Tinto (red river). It is situated on a volcanic ground and offers unbelievable views of what landscape can look like. 

Spain is known for its beaches, and here is a beautiful one you have to see in real: "Prais das Catedrais". The beach is in Galicia, and you will be able to observe huge cliffs forming aches similar to those of medieval cathedrals.

This is only a selection of beautiful landscapes to see in Europe, but there are many more. I haven't had the chance to see all of them, but it would be a pleasure to!
