Footstep Around The World #4 : Visiting Many Parts of Aceh in 2 Days

On 25-26 August, Rumah Relawan Remaja, a social community in Aceh organized an exhibition called Pameran Karya Pustaka Kampung Impian. The exhibition presented children from 5 disadvantaged villages in Aceh. They are Lapeng and Rinon village in Aceh Besar Regency, Bah and Serempah Village in Aceh Tengah Regency and Baling Karang Villange in Aceh Tamiang Regency.

The children performed many traditional dances and performances such as Likok Pulo Dance which describes the happiness after harvest time and Ranup Lampuan Dance which describe the hospitality in welcoming guess. The children also showed their works in form of crafts, village miniatures, pictures, paintings, drawing and others.

During the two days, I my self saw many parts of Aceh. As these areas are from different parts of Aceh which have different language, tribe and customs. Therefore, I felt that I have visited many parts of Aceh areas in 2 days. Of course, because I was in the exhibition, looking at the awesome works of children from 5 different areas.
