#34 : Underwater Waterfall, Mauritius
In fact, an underwater waterfall is just an illusion! A beautiful painting created by Mother Nature is located on the shore of the island of Mauritius, located approximately 2,000 kilometers from the south-eastern coast of Africa, near Madagascar. An unusual view reminiscent of an underwater waterfall attracts tourists from around the world. The reason for the underwater illusion is of course sands and silts, which seem to "flow", making the water color change and seems to resemble a waterfall. Sand forming the impression of a waterfall moves along with the ocean current from the upper coastal shelf to the lower layers located farther from the shore. When the water mixed with sand passes through the collapse of the land, an unusual waterfall effect is created. It is best to admire this beautiful phenomenon from a helicopter.
