The Chapel of St. Michael the Archangel is one of the highest chapels in Russia.

It is located in the beautiful surroundings of Mount Belukha four thousand five hundred meters above sea level near the mountain river Ak-Kem.

This chapel was built in the name of the memory of the rescuers who left their lives in the Altai Mountains.
We kindly ask all those who go there in the summer to take off their shoes in front of the entrance, go out to put out the candles, clean up the garbage, in the chapel, it’s most likely that your frequency and safety will remain on your conscience.
