Hawaii Island: Issac Kepo'okalani Hale Beach Park

Many tourist never get out to see this wonderful park. So here is 'Pohoiki' beach as we locals call it, and if any of you Steemians are ever on the Big Island, dont miss the opportunity to stop by and experience this place of beauty.

The drive down to the park is a magical twisting road that make you feel like you in another world, with so many types of plants and sunlight bursting through the trees...

Once you get to the park , you will find facilities with showers and plenty of parking...

And if you're into boating, no worries, we get plenty space for you to park too...

There are plenty of pic-nic benches where you can kick back and eat or BBQ, paved walkways and a playground for the children. You can even do a little camping ...

The surf here can be rough at times but there are plenty of waves to surf, scuba dive or just lounge by the water. there are life guards on duty...

These surfers are just waiting for the sets...

And if you forget your pic-nic basket, no worries, there are some local vendors who will gladly hook you up with shave ice cones or other local goodies...
