Right!

So, for those of you who have not read my first post prior to This One, Should check out my AllTalkNoAction: Intro #1 before proceeding to read on. CLICK here Intro#1

With that being said, let's continue!

Continuing with my boring life story, I was lied to and manipulated into joining the shipping industry! From that day, fast forward a year later! I had finally joined the Academy.

ACADEMY

During my time in the Academy, it was the most intense sh*t I had ever been through.
We woke up at 0500 every morning and went for 3KM jogs and as we all like to call it HELL after.
In HELL:

  • 100 Pushups (they made us hold plank position after every rep WHICH KILLED US)
  • Sit-ups
  • 30 Minutes of rest pushup position (Which doesn't sound TOO bad but, trust me. It was bad)

After all that, we would go back to our dorms and had 10 minutes to get ready for breakfast.
In those 10 Minutes:

  • 3 Minute Showers
  • 5 Minutes to put your uniform on and look neat!
  • 4 Minutes to do your prayers (if you pray)

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were always the best times! because well, food! but then again, you only had so much time to eat.

After breakfast we had this thing called Morning Colours! Morning colours is when we sing the National anthem and bla bla bla. RESPECT
Before and after Morning Colours we would have HELL again! Sometimes it just feels like it was fun for them. But now, come to think of it I gained a lot of discipline from that Academy.
So for all the parents out there who want to discipline your children, I highly recommend you to encourage your kids to join the Navy. Jokes! but if you want to, why not? see what happens.

Classes went on from 0900 to 1700, pretty much like normal school time. Which was difficult, not going to lie here.. It was diff-i-cult. Waking up at 0500 every morning would take its toll on most of us between 1200-1500. There would be students sleeping in class. Not just one or two but more than half the class. Lecturers would do all sorts of sh*t to keep us going... Some made us run and do more pushups and others would just ask us to wash our face.

After class hours meant alot to most of us, even though we had suffered throughout the day with punishments, long class hours and early mornings we would always find the time to do a proper workout. The only thing that pissed me off the most was that, there was no GYM like... not a PROPER gym. To simplify what I just said, here's a GIF:

So, all we had which seemed sufficient at that time was a monkey bar and a couple of logs.
The monkey bars were an amazing for Pullups and some core exercises and the logs were great for weighted squats. yeahhh, Navy boys got a** for dayz. Alright alright got a little too carried away there...

Fast forward to a year later this is where we were and had to be to complete our 2nd year of the course.

Here's a brief explanation of the picture above:
Basically, the ship which I was on (The orange one) was discharging cargo to the Green ship.... Um yeah. Thats it. That's basically what is happening in that picture. UpVote ^ for a cool picture Thanks!

Maybe we can continue this story another time. So stay tuned for an Intro #3. But not anytime soon, because I should start doing posts that would bring value to the community of #Steemit
