Bangkok - what a nightmare!
Oh Bangkok!
I was so excited before when my boyfriend and I decided to go to Bangkok and see what it has offer. Being one of the most touristy destination in Asia, I didn't know there's something else you will see in this so developed city - traffic.
Our first week in the city wasn't that so impressive, sad to say. It could've been so exciting to explore it, visit places, go to night markets and have some drinks on those famous Sky bars. All of these things on the list can't be enjoyed cause of, traffic. Whenever we try to go out to the city centre, the normal 20 minute journey (according to Google maps) will take us an hour or two to arrive because of the heavy traffic.
But in fairness, the city is still impressive. Even though it has been so modernised or I should say Westernised, they still manage to show how proud they are with their culture. I just hope the road traffic will get better somehow, someday, it would be very nice!

There must be more to your visit besides the poor traffic.
There could have been, but traffic made it difficult for us. Haha!
