Hidden gems - St. Felicitas-Kapelle

It was another cold day outside. Today spring should start on the northern hemisphere. Maybe it started but had a very cold start.
Did not want to talk about the cold today but about the chapel I discovered on my travels. Most of the time I am forced to stray from the highway and drive over the normal roads. It does not make sense to wait hours until the highway is clean again and it is also nice to discover the area.
I've seen people on various discord servers always asking questions about what to write. Please, just go outside and show us your surroundings and where you live. Or tell us your hobbies. There are so many things you can write about and most are less than 5km away.
Back to the chapel. This is called St. Felicitas Chapel and is located near Nuremberg, not far from the A3. When I saw it, I had to stop. Isolated on the outskirts of a village stood this building full of history. I could tell the chapel looks much younger than it is, as some women like to hear. The chapel was built sometime before 1379 because it was first mentioned in 1379. Around 1500 the tower was added. Since then, the chapel has been a companion to the history of this area. Also used as a horse stable for the horses of the Weimar army around the middle of the 17th century.
I was attracted by the simplicity and tranquility that it transmits. Unfortunately, the chapel was closed and I could not get in. It is a pity that most churches are kept closed, especially on this cold. They should always be open and host people in need, especially in such exceptional situations.

es war wieder ein sehr kalten Tag draußen. Heute sollte auf der nordischen Hemisphere das Frühling beginnen. Vielleicht hat es auch begonnen aber hatte ein sehr kalten Start gehabt.
Wollte nicht über die Kälte sprechen heute sondern über die Kapelle die ich auf meine Reisen entdeckt habe. Meistens bin ich gezwungen von der Autobahn abzuweichen und über die Landstraße zu fahren. Es macht kein Sinn Stunden zu warten bis die Autobahn wieder sauber ist und es ist auch schön die Gegend zu erkundigen.
Ich habe auf verschiedene Discord Server Leute gesehen die immer Fragen über was die schreiben sollen. Bitte, geht einfach draußen und zeigt uns eure Umgebung und wo ihr wohnt. Oder teilt uns eure Hobbys mit. Es gibt so viele Sachen über die ihr schreiben könnt und die meisten sind unter 5 km von euch entfernt.
Zurück zu der Kapelle. Diese heißt St. Felicitas-Kapelle und liegt in der Nähe von Nürnberg, nicht weit entfernt von der A3. Als ich die gesehen habe, musste ich stoppen. Abgelegen am Ortsrand stand dieses Gebäude voller Geschichte. Man sieht das Alter der Kapelle nicht an, wie manche Frauen zu hören mögen. Die Kapelle wurde irgendwann vor 1379 gebaut, weil diese wurde zum ersten mal in 1379 erwähnt. Um 1500 kam der Turm hinzu. Seitdem war die Kapelle ein Begleiter der Geschichte dieser Zone. Diente auch als Pferdestall für die Pferde der weimarischen Armee um die Mitte des 17 Jh.
Mich hat die Einfachheit und die Ruhe die diese vermittelte angelockt. Leider war die Kapelle geschlossen und ich konnte nicht rein. Es ist schade das die meisten Kirchen geschlossen gehalten werden, insbesondere bei dieser Kälte. Die sollten immer offen sein und Leute im Not beherbergen, insbesonderes bei solche Ausnahme Situationen.

The chapel looks acient yet still has a beautiful structure. And yes you right about the fact that lots of churches are been locked up, as they should be open the house people in need

I have found when traveling to older cities to seek out original chapels and churches which have a lot of history and character worth studying and appreciating.

in Indonesia has never happened winter, in my shadow is very pleasant when the snow fell, but dI tropical regions like Indonesia is very impossible. However, a place that is experiencing winter may be a bit uncomfortable as many of the snow-covered roads as you say, have to wait for hours to get to the destination. but keep the spirit, and keep careful because the road is slippery
