Произошло это при спуске на воду новой атомной подводной лодки «Белгород». Во время телемоста с президентом рабочие развернули большой, яркий баннер с требованием отставки пока еще губернатора Игоря Орлова.
«Владимир Владимирович Путин, снимите с должности губернатора Архангельской области И. Орлова», - написано на нем. Баннер мозолил глаза главе государства минут семь, пока охранники предприятия его не изъяли.
Все коллеги рабочих, пошедших на этот опасный шаг, разделяют их требование и ждут реакции от верховного главнокомандующего.
В регионе 9 месяцев продолжается массовое противостояние. Мы, северяне, выступаем против строительства на станции Шиес самого крупного в России полигона для захоронения мусора из Москвы, которая находится от нас на расстоянии 1000 километров.
На стороне выскопоставленных мусорщиков, среди которых сын генерального прокурора Игоря Чайки, и вся правоохранительная система с полицией и судами. По другую сторону-безоружный архангельский люд, пытающийся отстоять законными методами Русский Север и весь Баренц-регион. На Шиес стянуты большие силы полиции, пытаются зачистить территорию от протестующих. Сводки с Шиеса напоминают фронтовые: "Отстояли вахту Ленинград!"
