Great video! I don't have any beaver hunting or trapping experience. Do you save the hides? I've been interested in leatherworking, but still need to work on my skinning technique.
Yes, I keep the hides, but also... pretty much the whole critter. The meat is good for human consumption (my wife really likes it), as well as trapping bait. The furs, while not worth much, do bring a few dollars. Also, their "oil", "castor", and tail can be used or sold as commodities among trappers.
