These days, politicians, journalist leaders and lawyers, including prominent citizens, are talking about the road accidents and rally in front of the National Committee to Protect Naval Street and Railway in front of the National Press Club.

Journalist Ishtiaque Reza said that the leaders of the bus owners' association and the Road Transport Workers Union are the two top leaders of the minister responsible for the continuous road accidents and casualties in the public transport sector. As a result, bus-truck owners and workers are politically influential. Not only the services and security of the common people, their main objective is to profit only. "Bangladesh's transport workers are the most rowdy in the world," he said.
Journalist Ajmal Haque Helal said, "The road accidents are not going to reduce due to the business attitude of the owners and the recklessness of the workers.
He drew the attention of the Prime Minister to take action against these opportunist and financially-owned workers-workers.
Journalist Nikhil Bhadra said, "Those who were killed in the accident, they died and survived. But his relatives became very helpless. And those who are crippled, they have to carry on this curse all their life, survive being the burden of the family. The government will have to take effective steps to release the people.
Raju Ahmed said 13 lakh licensed drivers were driving vehicles across the country. These illegal drivers must be brought under the immediate law. He gave his consent to making the SSC pass mandatory minimum educational qualification for issuing a driver's license for creating skilled drivers.
National Committee General Secretary Ashish Kumar Dey said, to reduce the road accidents, the discipline should be restored in the public transport sector. To stop the harassment of ordinary owners and workers, all the buses and truck terminals of the country will be free from extortion and illegal occupation. He also demanded to provide all kinds of transport workers with salary and allowances, weekly leave, and daily work schedules.
