Its judgemental to act like promoting a post more than a certain amount requires additional attention or transparency, and to force that opinion on peoples blogs with your comments.
People should be allowed to chose how they promote their posts without getting unsolicited spam.
There absolutely must be an opt out, nevermind it should actually be opt-in
Devil's advocate here: Well, in this case I decide to repost my very same article every 5 minutes, my freely chosen form of promotion. I hope you don't dare shaming me for my free choice. You could simply mute me, but please don't comment on my repetitive posting. (No I'm not going to do this, just consider this a provocative thought experiment)
