SIZZLING PORK SISIG

MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE!!!

I love sizzling pork sisig!
It is my favorite traditional dish here in the Philippines. Especially when dipped in calamansi with chili.

I love to eat it with rice.

Whenever my friends and I go out to grab some beer, we always order Sisig. Even my family loves Sisig with beer. Hahah. But don't get me wrong guys, I am not an alcoholic or something. Here in the Philippines, drinking with family or friends is like our way to spend quality time with each other. 😆

For those who haven't tried it, I am telling you, it's gonna be worth trying!

Here let me share to you the origin of Sisig.

SISIG
Sisig is traditional Filipino dish usually made from pig's head and liver. One of the main ingredients of Sisig is the pig's brain. But others find it too exotic so they just use Mayonnaise instead. Sisig's place of origin is Pampanga, Philippines.

In Angeles, Pampanga, "Sisig Festival" is being celebrated every year during April.

Variations

As time goes by, many Filipinos has created different variations of Sisig. Some people doesn't want to eat too much meat or pork, but good news folks, you can replace your pork with tuna or tofu. And even chicken if you like.
