World-wide scholarships fall due to North Korea and US holiday

With Wall Street closed due to the US Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, stock exchanges around the world were trading mostly bearish, with investors pocketing some gains as North Korea's missile shot reduced appetite to the risk.
European stock markets traded lower, although some mergers and acquisitions limited losses. At 07:02 AM CET, the European benchmark Euro Stoxx 50 fell 0.13%, the DAX lost 0.14%, the CAC 40 traded down 0.10% while the FTSE 100 was down 0.15% .
Earlier, Asian stock markets closed lower, with China's Shanghai Composite down 0.4% and Japan's Nikkei down 0.2%.
The US futures market was an exception to the general rule, recording small gains. At 06:03 local time, the Dow futures blue chip index rose 0.13%, S & P 500 futures gained 0.24% and Nasdaq 100 futures advanced 0.49%.
