Putting my money where my mouth is

Ok, so I've been heavily dissin on the 'gurus' lately, so I thought I'd better show my end of the deal.
This is a one time thing, just to prove that you can make actual money in the real world from trading, not just 'speculate' and pretend to be doing it. I won't ever be doing this again, it's just to lend weight to my argument from my previous post. I know it's crass to share this kind of stuff but I felt it justified to share on this one occasion.
Do any of your 'gurus' ever share stuff like this ?

Sure, it's not a huge amount and I don't claim to be the best trader in the world, but I trade for an income not a Lambo. I think a 1000 bucks a day is a good target, Anything more than that is just excessive and greedy. This is what trading looks like in the real world, day in day out.

I don't get upvotes because I don't play the positive psychology game by posting "every crypto is going to the moon ! always ! ". It's probably because I just tell the truth, and people don't like to hear that.
Also, of my 120 or so followers, only 4 of them are real people, the rest are just spammy bot accounts :-(

Not having to follow the pack does not mean you will not earn big. I remember a fellow steemian by the name @pawsdog who went against the pack and got a ton more upvotes because of that. He spoke out against @haejin and others who rape the reward pool and got upvotes for it.
Bottom line is be yourself and sooner or later you will be rewarded for your work. I actually read some of your comments between @bitbrain. You are one of the few people on here that actually spends the time to respond to comments even though they likely will not earn you much.

This is only from my currency account, I have other accounts for commodities and shares.
You know, that's almost similar to trading crypto, just that crypto crap/junk coins have larger swings.
Crypto trader also brag about their winning. They are mute when they are making a loss.

Not any I would guess. The people that have been following his trades have shown how much money people would have lost if they'd taken his advice...

Currency is currency I suppose, if there's people and money involved it's tradeable. I just don't trust crypto yet :-)
...and to which is why I have only invested a very small amount of real cash (less than a night out drinking) and the rest has been converting STEEM/SBD in BTC.
But, if I keep plugging away and am able to stack a few precious metal coins, then it will seem more real.
Slow steady growth is the key, using compound interest. That's how anyone from plebs like me to Warren Buffet make money. Anyone who says anything different is a blagger or a fantasist.
@DeanLogic taught me most of the tricks on how to make a lot of $$$$ here on Steemit
I do well buying and selling AMZN on the really big dips .... since 1997 ... So far this year my best investment has been Steem.... I invested zero dollars and have $12,000 .... 95 % of my investments are in CD's earning 3% compounding interest.... I am getting rich very slowly.
Slowly is good... slowly means safe ! And with compounding it slowly speeds up anyway :-)
Yes.... slowly converting hundreds of thousands into millions.... slowly. But with Steem and Bitcoin you can turn pennies into thousands ....
...or turn thousands into pennies even quicker, as a lot of people have found out... :-)

Thanks for the link, seems like a genuine guy which is rare for YouTube... I don't normally trust people who give advice while selling services.Usually most of them just spend the time dissin on other traders methods to sell why their training course are the best...
Something I've yet to see is someone live streaming their trades as they happen, almost always it's people showing historical data and claiming that they bought here, sold there, with no proof they actually did it...
It was nice to see his trading screen also, something I'm always interested in as it's a good indication if they're a real trader or a blagger, reminds me of this post ;-)

Another point of view is you are just passionate about not following (being a follower) and create your own lane. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to take the language of the audience...and that may mean doing things out of your norm to get your point across. You seem sincere, humble and genuine from your posts, so it's all good.
Maybe it's just a girl thing, I get fed up for a long time and then I have a good rant and feel better :-)
