Should I quit my job for intraday trading if I can on average net ₹1,500 per day, even if I have no savings apart from 1 lac of capital in my trading account?

No.

You can opt for Algo trading and keep doing your job.

These are the trades I took yesterday. Algorithm used : Delta Neutral.

Traded 5 lots using a capital of 7.5 Lac and made a return of 1.80% . With one lac, you can’t do option selling.

The trading industry is not like the standard 9–5.

You can work 6 hours at 9 to 5 and you will get paid accordingly.

Trading is a totally different ball game.

You could have a 6 hour trading session, end of the day on a negative and still have to consider it a great day.

You see, here we don’t get rewarded for the time we put in, at least not in the same way a normal job does. We get rewarded when we focus on executing our trading edge consistently without distraction over a long period of time.

And this is something you can only do once you have learned, practiced and refined a trading edge for yourself. Your capital and savings are not sufficient for full time trading right now.
