A few questions about how you invest in Cryptocurrencies

in #trading7 years ago

Hi fellow Steemians. I have been looking at the charts this afternoon and wondering where and when would be best to buy into a crypto and wanted to ask the community about this.

Which cryptocurrencies have you invested in so far?

What makes you decide on buying into a cryptocurrency? Do you read the news, look at charts, read forums? Maybe you use some other means?

Do you intend on holding for a couple of years while the whole crypto scene appreciates in value or will you be looking into the news and selling as stories break out?

What about ICO's? Do you prefer buying into startups with the hope of making it big or are you simply supporting new initiatives?

Would love to see what you think in the comments.

i am pretty new myself i take about 25% of my coin and trade throughout the week and i hold the rest in lite coin and ether. I started thinking it would be fun to day trade with all of it and very quickly I decided that would be a poor life decision. My advice is if you want to have the thrill of day trading set a percentage aside just for trading.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I have most of my cash locked up in crypto investment from ICO's mostly and have a small portion which I have left for day trading. I get such a rush from it :) hard to just hold everything especially when I see good signals on the charts.

Good advice and thanks for chipping in.

I'm curious where the market will go as well. Hopefully dinner experts chime in.

I would like to think up and up and up :)
