BTC/USD
Bitcoin remains in murky territory, fixed between the 6000 floor and 7000 ceiling it's been stuck in since early this month. Key supports and resistance in this range are (circa, is exchange dependent) 6890,6710, 6534, 6384 & 6110.
6000 support is over a year old and has weathered the bear market well so far. Presuming sentiment is correct and the harked bull market is impending, buys should be set for 6100-6500 regions, based on risk appetite.
Seeming as the market is generally following bitcoin's footsteps currently, analysis on other coins will be ad hoc as they breakaway from BTC's dominance.
Considering the lack of fundamentals this week, and technical analysis showing no huge signs of movement. Sentiment, both through barometers & anecdotal experience seems to be getting better. The recent bullrun with XRP seems to have reignited the interest of investors pulled in during the dec17 bullrun.
My overall opinion of this week's crypto market movements is consolidation, with a slight edge towards bearish movement as I expect BTC to retest 6000, and likely drag the market with it.
