Good morning Steemit! A quick look at gold, cryptos and the yen.
Good morning traders! Today we have a slow day ahead of us, with no real news to push the markets this or that way, and we have a UK bank holiday. So don't expect fireworks.
The floods around Houston are expected to get worse, so if you are in a position to help people, please do.
Today i will be keeping my eyes on GOLD, which is looking to make a push above 1300. Whether we get smacked down like the last times or do we get it running, remains to be seen. But the sentiment is not as positive towards gold as it was the last times and this is the time it could actually break out.
Here's some charts for you.
XAUUSD weekly. Gold weekly momentum is clearly up. Decision time!
XAUUSD daily. Nothing to comment really. I'm so ready to ride this rollercoaster
BTCUSD daily. I don't expect Bitcoin to give up so easily, so bullish, until proven otherwise. Look to buy dips, resistance is clear.
ETHUSD daily. A grind upwards with no momentum, not for me.
ETHUSD H4. Be careful of potential double tops
USDJPY daily. This is worth repeating
USDJPY H4 might have some setups in it.
STEEMBTC daily. Damnit get a hold of yourself!
STEEMBTC intraday some triangulating can be seen.

I have one purchase since last week (part of the profit was fixed, and a part is in breakeven).

i'm bearish on USD, but that doesn't mean that i am right. Besides, if you buy USDJPY here, you can define and limit your risk easily as you have clear points where you would cut loss
