During beta we are running a contest where we give one VIVA Crown to the the most active maker and one VIVA Crown to the most active taker. Each VIVA Crown has a resale value of ~$600 USD!
Today's winners are @okean123 who won the maker crown and @nextgen622 who won the taker crown, please congratulate them on their win and thank them for providing so much liquidity to the markets.
Remember to vote for our witness, @viva.witness to support TradeQwik and the rest of the VIVA project!
This post is 100% steem powered!
Thx for sharing this article!
please what is this viva coin?
good stuff! check @vivacoin for its introductory posts!!
We've got a long way to go of course, but it's encouraging to see activity in STM/USD picking up. Now need to jump start that BTC/USD market somehow...
We've got buys in for where we think BTC will end up in the next few days.
But it might be a good idea to offer a small premium over current market in order to jumpstart liquidity right away. That's not my money though, it's an off market client who said they have time and just want to fill at the best possible rates.
We'll be moving the ATMs onto the exchange as well, so as soon as people make a purchase from the ATMs it will execute buy/sell orders directly and that will help liquidity, at least on days that people are selling us their BTC.
I've also petitioned coinmarketcap to add us, and we have golos & GBG coming where GBG with serve as XAU.
So a lot of things in the works. Probably best we have this slow grow period for a couple of weeks though while we gear up and test everything. Like for instance the crashing in the steem wallet could have been a major egg on the face moment, had we 10x the volume we have right now.
Makes sense, these early days are serving as a great shakedown period to work out all the kinks. Will be interesting to see what effect those ATMs have. How many of them do you have setup so far?
We have 2 at the moment, but they see several BTC in volume daily. We'll be adding more in the future.
Thank you very much. Keep on doing this great work!
Thanks! I really appreciate it! And congratulations on winning a VIVA Crown!
Thank you!
Just a quick notice that TradeQwik will be going down for maintenance from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM PST. This maintenance period is to correct a few minor issues and also to add golos and GBG support.
How does your website authenticate? Do new users create an account or do you connect to the STEEM blockchain? Are passwords sent to you or is it handled by Steemit.com?
Users create an account on tradeqwik when they sign up. Then if they deposit steem or steem dollars, they just send it to @tradeqwik with a customer code shown in the interface. It will be the same with golos when we integrate golos and GBG next week.
We never ask for a steem password.
Great news! Thanks for sharing with us all and keeping us all up to date with the evolution of the project. All for one and one for all! Namaste :)
Congrats to today's Crown winners!!!
