Günümüz Türkçesiyle Temir hatun olarak bilinmektedir. M.Ö. Vl. yüzyılda yaşamış olan Tomris Hatun Sakaların ve bilinen tarihin ilk kadın hükümdarı olmuştur. Tomris Hatun'un hükmü sırasında dönemin en büyük ve en güclü imparatorluğu olan pers imparatorluğu saka devletinin güneyin kalan bölgeleri tek tek ele geçirmiştir.
