Movie Themed Vehicle Collections
Heya wonderful people of Steem. How is everyone doing? As usual, I have been away for a couple of days. No particular reason – mostly the usual ones (busy at work, anime marathon, munchkin Lays while watching Pawn Stars, etc...).
Anyway, I can’t think of anything to post so I guess I’ll just share this photo – it is a portion our living room. In one side of the room, I placed some of my movie themed vehicle collection.
As can be seen, I’m a big fan of Batman, FnF (Fast and Furious), Initial D, and whatever catches my grip (exotic cars like the Enzo Ferrari, the last V8 Interceptor used in the original Mad Max film, etc…)
Now some readers may wonder, why do I collect such toys and even displays them at the living room.
Conversation Pieces
Yes, they are considered toys, but I also would like to treat them as awesome displays that generate conversations from our visitors.
Since those are movie themed, it easily attracts attention. For instance, the big scale batmobile in the bottom right. Many of my friends would be able to guess that it is the one used in the Batman films starring Michael Keaton.
Dom’s 1970 Dodge Charger also easy noticeable and the vehicles from Initial D.
As an investment of sort
Believe it or not, some of the cars in my collection has appreciated value. If you would look at the standard posting price of the Batmobiles, Mad Max Interceptor (brand Autoart), and diecast cars from The Fast and The Furious franchise, you would see that many demands or are peg at a high price.
Unfortunately, I am not yet ready to part with many of my collections just yet. That, or until someone makes an offer that I can’t refuse read that last sentence in the Godfather’s voice and stroking an imaginary cat
Well, that’s just about it. I won’t make this post long – it is an impromptu post after all. Besides, I’m already quite eager to visit some of my favourite members of the community and read what’s up with them.
Happy Tuesday everyone.

Your reason for it being a conversation starter is actually on point. If for other homes, art pieces are being displayed for such purpose, your toy collection equates to it. And tbh, your collection is more personal and would usually be a more interesting convo starter, I can already imagine a few conversation scenarios on my head right now, lol.
I agree with this. I never knew that exposing your collection outside your room could really make as conversation starters. I’ll keep that in mind!
