Seychelles
Seychelles, officially called the Republic of Seychelles, is the smallest country in Africa, located in the Indian Ocean. Seychelles consists of several islands, consisting of 155 islands, 42 of which are granite rock islands and 113 islets. The largest of these islands is Mahe Island. The capital city of Seychelles, the city of Victoria, comprises 90% of the country's population. Seychelles was named by French General Corneille Nicolas Murphy, following French Finance Minister Jean-Morro de Seychelles in 1756 and following a republican presidential system of 25 administrative regions.
