Nigerian is a country known for its rich culture, tradition, rich foods and arts. Prolific in cultural tourism with many historical sites . When it comes to tourism, it is observed that Mother Nature took out time to endow Nigeria with luxuriant wonderlands . Out of all natural and picturesque view of the Nigerian tourist centers, Obudu Mountain Resort has been one of the highly visited by tourists in Nigeria and all over the world.

Obudu Mountain Resort is one plane of paradise brought down to earth for the purpose of rendering unto men that which they once enjoyed in Eden's garden.
Formerly known as Obudu Cattle Ranch, Obudu Mountain Resort is a ranch and resort on the Obudu Plateau located in Obanliku Local Government Area of the Northern part of Cross River State, Nigeria near the Cameroon border. It is approximately 65 km from Obudu town. Obudu Mountain Resort was first developed by Mr. McCaughley (a Scottish), Mr. Hugh Jones and Dr Crawfeild in 1951.
Visitors always want to see the magnificent views and peculiar bird life of the resort which they do on foot or bicycle. Additionally, cable car transport network takes visitors from the foot of the mountain to the top of the plateau. Obudu Mountain Resort has a serene environment which you might want to go to cool off during vacations.

Foods and refreshment are not left out, as visitors are always treated like kings and queens. The hospitality management is explicit found in the Terrace restaurant bar with cool and mind relaxing atmosphere completed by the blazing log fire. Terrace restaurant offers gym, tennis court and natural swimming pool.

With all these beauty spots, I bet some of my fellow Steemians who have not been in Nigeria for the first time can come see things for themselves as there are even more to what you see here. The world is a beautiful place and there is nothing we can do but to explore and enjoy its free gifts.
