Top of Mount Burni Telong
Bener Meriah Regency has an active volcano that is Burni Telong. This mountain towering up to 2642 meters above sea level. Burni Telong became one of the tourist areas of interest.
There are two choices of routes that can be passed to reach the top of Burni Telong volcano, the route Pante Raya and Bandar Lampahan.
At the heart of Burni Telong, pine trees stretch your eyes This is the only mountain of Merapi in the highlands of Gayo, Central Aceh and Bener Meriah. The mentioned cave can be used for picnics, while enjoying a soothing breeze.
If you do not want to get to the top, at the foot of the mountain, disebuah somewhat known place there are two pools of hot water baths, in Simpang Balik village. Hot water is sourced from Mount Borni Telong. Best fun for bathing in the afternoon and evening because the water is rather hot. Visitors will feel a touch startle, but then feel delicious mixed with the cold.
This mountain is suitable for climbers. However, first must be built some shelters to facilitate the climb. "Currently the Tourism Office focuses on the entrance of Lake Laut Tawar.
