Orphaned (in honor of the holocaust)

orphaned

bodies, bodies there everywhere

dead, buried, cold…. frozen

Jewish pride taken away

religion is seen as a race

can’t take the pain…. suicidal

forced into poverty of unthinkable matters

burned, gassed, crematoriums and gas chambers

“why oh why god what have we done” they asked

punished for our sins this will all end

what have we done to deserve this pain and suffering

my father is dead my mother is of the unknown….. separated!

children thrown in the air and shot like targets

one was my sister.

finally liberation I am saved
