The most popular tourist attraction in Tokyo! Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Museum

The Mitaka City Municipal Animation Art Museum (Mitaka no Ghibli Art Museum) opened in Heisei 13 (2001) as the first animation art museum in Japan, consistent with the musical institution concept of Tokuma Shoten Studio Ghibli Division (then) and Mitaka City. Hayao Miyazaki, the global animation director, is the draft plan. The building itself is thought to be like a movie, and the inside of the hall is a multilayered and maze-like building. In addition to the exhibition room, the entire facility, such as a stained glass depicting beautiful frescoes and ghibli pieces depicted on the entrance ceiling, and a passage to unexpected places, is discovered throughout the facility.
