I made a cake for my mother inlaw's birthday.

A rich, moist chocolate cake with a strawberry mousse filling. Topped with a chocolate ganache and decorated with cookies, chocolate covered caramels and chocolate coconut almonds and sprinkled nuts. Would have had some whipped cream and drizzled caramel but I wasn't able to get to that because of...

How she managed to not get any on herself is a mystery.

I couldn't punish her for her wrong doings. How could I when she looked at her hand that is holding cake, confused at how this is wrong when it is so yummy.

Constant teaching is in place. Some food isn't always meant to be eaten by you, Frankie. It can look sooo good, smell like chocolate, even have candy on it and cookies, and even though you could have sworn that it has your name on it, doesn't mean it is for you.

You are full of love, Frankie. Aaand full of adventure, as long as the belly is full... preferably with sweets. <3

I brought it to my mother inlaw's anyway. I knew she would find it funny.

We (the kids and I) planned it out where I printed those two pictures and put it in an envelope. The kids kept it all a secret till it was time to give the gifts.
When it was time, my son, Aaden, gave the envelope to Frankie. She then gave it to her grandmother. I waited in the hallway with the cake and when I heard her laugh I walked in with the cake.

She thought it was the funnies thing.
Good thing too! I had no time to make another cake.
