The Kuntau a Traditional Martial Arts
Around the year 2000, there were a man, in the village -Paloh Dayah, Lhokseumawe, Aceh- who taught me the Kuntau martial art. His name is Sulaiman. Previously, there was also pencak silat.
However, I prefer the kuntau, because of its fast movement, and blow punch. Perhaps, the military prefers this type of silat. Locking movement, slamming, and so on.
Kuntau is not a martial art with beautiful movements and movements, such as wushu (kungfu), karate, taekwondo, an so on, but its function is similar to other types of martial art.
All kinds of martial art, from any country, same. It all depends on the person who controls this type of martial art.
The most important thing is the kuda-kuda, the steps. All kinds of martial art, in essence teaches self-defense.
This self-defense is to avoid, sometimes attack. And, in every martial art, self-control, is the source of all.

This is a video about kuntau by martial arts teacher abroad, from youtube
The movements in the kuntau that you show, reminds me of the Astra college in our gampong. A martial art that relies on elbows and knees, and more hands-on. I do not know whether Astral and Kuntau have a relationship, but as I know, the moves at the Astra college are very minimal foot. The blow can be called deadly, especially if an Astra has managed to master the "scoop".
My friend, a kind reminder here.
