To start off the first thing is to see what kinda controls you like i prefer the normal controls but use what ever feels conformable for you.

Lets say someone is right behind you and their shooting you don't try and shoot back strait away because by the time you turn around you would be very low health and he will probable kill you how to prevent that build you need to build walls all around you then build a ramp because you will have the upper advantage so more chance or a head shot/critical damage and he will need to to shoot out the wall and ramp before getting to you so you have enough time to kill him before he does.

What about weapons you may ask the best damage weapon in the game is the rocket launcher so you ever see one of those make sure to pick it up it can take down bases very fast.

They are different kinda people noob builders,good builders,pro builders,and MLG builders,just so you not a noob builder I am going to teach you something dont build just a ramp then try to go on top of it and start shooting build a wall in front because they cant shoot the ramp down before you even get to the top but if you did put a wall down,you could have time to get up their and and shoot them to make them panic and then you could kill them.

TOP 10 SITUATION!

Also if all that can at least get you to top 10 then you need too make sure you in the circle at all times in a top 10 situation and build a 3 story base how to do that build walls all around you then build ramp build walls all round you on top of the ones you built before keep doing that there you go.

TOP 5 SITUATION!

So now your in top 5 you need to play very carefully perer a 3 story base with a AR or a Rocket Launcher but you can let them others fight it out or you can fight but you need to be at full health at all times as much as you can so I would peter to stay back and let them fight.

TOP 2 SITUATION!

You have made it so far but its not over yet its you verse one other person 2 different ways you can approach this build base stay calm or rush him and vary your chance of winning if your gonna rush build one wall in front of you and a ramp before you get to him just for a little cover pull out a shotgun if your gonna rush,if your gonna stay back in a base have an AR out or a rocket launcher or sniper rifle but what if he rushes pull out a shotgun and shot him in the head before the gets all the way up to you.
