In case you need some ideas (or are bored out of your mind) here are some suggestions on what to set your sights on next.
- Get deeper into STEEM. In case you haven't already explored everything there is to, there are a lot of awesome things to check out.
- Witnesses. What they do, the differences between them and miners, how to become one etc. Also vote if you haven't.
- Look at what the whales are doing. You can start at steemwhales.com.
- Chat. Steemit.chat is one option, some big users also have a discord groups.
- Interested in blockchain technology? Not many people have the knowledge and resources to actually create a new cryptocurrency, much less a launch a ICO that's not a scam. However that doesn't mean you shouldn't learn a little bit about the technicalities. Maybe follow the development of EOS, @trogdor has made a nice post on it - EOS vs. Ethereum for Dummies!.
- For any aspiring developers/coders: I recommend aiming to become a Full Stack Developer - either a specialize in .Net or Java stacks. Sadly I don't have a single link for this one, since there are an infinite number of resources for beginners - Youtube is a great starting point, also Google is your best friend. Also whenever you're stuck just remember:
The difference between a beginner and a senior developer is that the later knows from where to copy his code.
- Learn how to use an editing software. It doesn't matter what it is you are editing: photos, graphics, video, audio etc. I have to add an obligatory "I do not condemn piracy", but we both know that if you were gonna do it, that wouldn't stop you. With that said there is plenty of free software if you just need simple edits, nowadays you can get by with just online editors for most things.
- Learn HTML. HTML gets it's own point just because the basics are extremely easy to learn and it'll help you create fancier post (I should follow my own advice more often).
- Get general knowledge on any subject. It will give you some new conversation topics for the next awkward conversation. (I'm just listing things I find interesting here)
- Machine learning has been making a lot of noise lately.
- No one really understands quantum mechanics, but that doesn't mean we can't pretend we do so.
- Any gamblers here? Some games are pretty engaging. (Author's note: Please don't gamble with money you can't afford to lose).
- Social engineering, body language, cold/hot reading etc.
- Music theory, basic composition.
- Chemistry, biology and medicine are all huge fields, but you can concentrate at just one thing (e.g alcohol digestion, skeletal structure, antidepressants etc.)
- Anything else you are interested in (yeah I know that's not really helpful).
- Nutrition and training. Not really a thing to "learn", and it's not necessary to become a fitness specialist, but for your own health try to remember to eat healthier and move more.
