What do you spend your time on, have you thought that you can have more time to spare

in #time5 years ago (edited)

In a busy day, it is wise to plan how to spend your timer

If you have a family, there is a lot to do and you may go to the store frequently and shop 3 to 4 times a week. How long does it take? 60 minutes or longer I would think But you often meet well-known people and it's nice to talk to them. When you shop there are often little things like food, drink and of course toilet paper that one runs out of constantly. But the food and dinner are not planned in advance so when we are in the store we are looking for what we want to eat and time passes

What about the car and fuel, you fill several times in a week because you always check when the prices are low and want to save some money on it Let's say that when you fill up the entire tank, the fuel will last a week

But you drive in 3 times during that week and small fill your tank with fuel you use up your time How long does it take? 30 minutes or more ?

Then it was mobile, messages come all the time and we respond and respond and send messages ourselves too. Most people use the mobile phone all day long Mobile steals most of our time now, I think on average 6 hours a day for socializing. It's nice, but time goes by

And then we like to visit the shopping center just to look at clothes shoes also on that we have not planned to buy and maybe we do it several times in a week. How long does it take? 60 minutes or longer I would think

There is certainly more I could have added to this list, but let's take a look at it Planning larger food purchases and what is needed for a week at a time can be beneficial and save a lot of time. Household items can be purchased for one month at a time, for example toilet paper.

Time you save if you shop once a week in the colonial = 3 hours Time saved if you refuel once a week = 1 hour Time you save if you only use your mobile for 3 hours for social use every day for a week = 21 hours + more if you do not go to the shopping center

Wooow it was 25 hours saved a week after all, in a year 1300 hours
What do you want to spend your free time on, a vacation or?

This was just a thought example, but I think we should plan how we spend our hours each day to make the most of the day, weeks and year -------------------

Hello @xpilar. You have an extraordinary thought to save time. this never occurred to me. from what you said, I concluded that if someone shopped at once, filled up on gas at once, and did other things at once, it would save time. this is a very brilliant thought in my opinion.

I myself have a lot of time. I am not a busy person. because I am not married, and currently I am still living with parents. for home shopping and cooking, I only give money to parents, and my parents who buy it.

I myself spent a lot of time to work. I work from morning, until evening at 17.00. apart from that time I spent a lot on steemit. and on Sundays, I visit tourist attractions to be able to calm down.

thank's for your feedback @aulia1993

thank you @brismar for your great words about time and man
I have one question
You're very good at writing, so I wonder why you don't post on your steemit page,
you don't have to answer it if you don't feel like it

Bendiciones.

thanks for answer then i understand @brismar 👍

On one occasion, during a conference on economics, one of the speakers paraphrased an idea that seems to be quite common among his colleagues:

The economy is about administration and planning with always scarce resources and needs that, if left unchecked, grow steadily. Of all the existing resources, the most scarce is Time, so it is the most expensive there is.

I share the idea of the colleague and I think it fits well with what you propose in your post, you need to plan and focus the efforts and resources to meet the objectives that we set. Of course, for this we have to answer: What do we want?

This question from the previous paragraph always reminds me of a fragment of Alice's dialogues in Wonderland, when asking for an address to the cat tells her that it depends on where she wants to go, she tells him that it doesn't matter and he mocks saying that it is not relevant which way to go. I interpreted it as if you do not have your clear objectives, all your efforts are dispersed and it is difficult to fulfill them.

thank you for your great feedback @pedrobrito2004
you're right about that

You're welcome @xpilar

Hi @xpilar time planning is something that I struggle, working days 8-6:30 PM, 5 days a week, the rest of week very little time for family, my hobbies, of course dinner and sleep. Weekends I try to fit the rest what I wanted to do, luckily my hubby does shopping and cooking when I am not there, that is very helpful. I think at home we are quite OK, my working hours drive me crazy 9,5 hours a day is too short or maybe there are much to do. I do not know. I hope it will get better but that is life rapid modern time :)

Hi @stef1

Job and family require a lot and I agree with you that we are living in a busy time.
Hope you also get some time for yourself and your hobbies as it will recharge your batteries

Hello my friend @xpilar

Very difficult topic I think, time is running faster, life is running much faster. We can stop the time because it is natural.

I always hear many people saying “I don’t have time to do that” It sounds very strange, and I was wondering why and how is that..?

We are planning all the time our schedule, we know exactly how much time we spend in our activities.

A lot of people waste time in social media like Facebook, and I think this platform is not worth it.

When I am planning to use Steemit to publish a new content, it take me just an instant and actually immerse on Steemit will be 2 o 3 hours depending in my mind and how faster I can write the content and finish it.

Sometimes meetings with family, friends, relatives can recharge ourselves.

And plans can be changed in the last minute..!!!

Have an amazing time my friend..!!

thank you for your great feedback @edgarare1

Yes, and FB is very addictive creatively
hehe, I see my wife checking FB all the time
I've tried to get her to use Steemit, but it's no use

Yeah, you right my friend creatively as you said.. but a bunch of people use that platform for gossip news right..!!!

Oh, really..!! Maybe you should show her a video about Steemit..!! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8j0z0bJzAjs&list=PLNKm9rMIcxO1zcmjYyGAc_JVdM9DYxkGa&index=1

Show her this video, and maybe she can compare Facebook with Steemit results..!!

Have a great time my friend @xpilar

Yeah, it is fantastic and the message is amazing..!! Have a wonderful time my friend..!!

Oh yes, with age, time began to fly very quickly for me. It no longer stretches as in youth. In the morning I plan a lot of things, but I don’t always have time. Where does the time fly? :)

You are absolutely right.
A wise step if we can plan the use of time well.
Perhaps very rarely people who plan in detail the use of time in a day. indeed we know that wasted time cannot be returned. however, we often throw it away without getting it worth it. we do a lot of activities which turns out that if collected for one year becomes a lot of accumulation of time.
Often when meeting with friends then involved conversation that does not feel can take a lot of time. So much fun we do that we forget the time and maybe even forget the plans we have made.

Thank you @xpilar
Warm regard from Indonesia
