In 2017, Apple nearly doubled Cook's pay, making him one of the world's highest paid CEOs with a 12.8 million dollars salary. In addition, forced him to use private plane for both business and private travel, for reasons of "safety and efficiency".
According to information provided to the SEC, personal travel invoices totaled $93,000, while security expenses amounted to $225,000.
